About me

The best days start off on a hike through my San Francisco neighborhood with my two partners in crime, Nandor and Wednesday, and end in my studio, lost in a painting. I do my best work when I make time to ground myself in the outdoors. The painting process can be all-consuming. I'm lucky my furry studio mates are so patient! (TBH they aren’t! Hah!)

I have always found comfort in my connection to animals. Dogs give clarity to the day. Are we fed? Have we moved our bodies? Exercised our minds? Perhaps we need a nap? It’s not that complicated. My dogs help me to be present and try hard, but remember, tomorrow we get to start fresh!
